Redding Hills Wildfire

After several days of burning north-east of Redding, California, the wildfire has intensified due to hot, dry conditions and strong winds. Nearby neighborhoods, campgrounds, and rural communities are now at risk.

Authorities have issued evacuation orders for the highest-risk areas and are directing residents and visitors to leave immediately.

Reception centers south of the threatened area are now open to register evacuees, assess urgent needs, and refer people onward to shelters, hospitals, or temporary housing.
